Details
The SWIF rug is crafted from wool, combining a flatwoven base with hand-tufted bird motifs that capture the graceful movement of birds in flight. The neutral palette brings a playful yet subtle expression, making it easy to integrate into both children’s rooms and shared living spaces. Tactile and warm underfoot, it adds softness and character to any interior. When you buy this rug, you're helping vulnerable children and adults around the world. All proceeds from the SWIF rug are donated to the Danish Red Cross in support of their vital humanitarian work. Handwoven using traditional flat-weaving techniques, each rug is a testament to quiet craftsmanship and enduring design.
Colour
Beige and brown tones
Please note that high-pile rugs may appear lighter or darker depending on the light and the direction of the pile.
Material
90% wool, 10% cotton
Wool rugs may shed fibres in the first few weeks of use. This is a normal process that will diminish with regular use and the amount of shedding will decrease over time.
Instructions
Dab minor stains with a damp cloth as soon as possible. Avoid rubbing to prevent the stain from penetrating deeper into the fabric.
We recommend using a rug underlay on smooth floors.
Don't pull loose ends, cut them off with scissors instead.
