At Home with Gina Stiebitz

In films and series, the actress brings deep and complex characters to life - her apartment in Charlottenburg reflects that same richness. Each room has its own mood, showing different sides of Gina herself. The classic Berlin pre-war building welcomes you with white walls, high ceilings, and plenty of light – a home that feels like a cozy retreat while also offering space for friends and family.

"The first thing I always notice is the light. I live pretty high up, so I have a beautiful view and lots of natural light. That’s a big advantage, especially in Berlin, which can be quite gloomy sometimes."

The rooms are spacious and open, decorated in a minimalist but playful style. Items seem to be placed casually, but each piece tells a story – a friend’s mini surfboard from Portugal, Kintsugi art by a Japanese artist in Berlin, or a wooden turtle from her parents. These little personal touches warm up the clean, simple rooms and make the space truly hers.

"For me, what really makes a room complete, are all the little details."

In the Bedroom: Gina the Dreamer

This is where Gina withdraws to find peace. Surrounded by her favourite books on the shelves and soft fabrics on the bed, a gentle, personal atmosphere emerges. “Somehow I’m always automatically drawn towards the bed – I think it’s my favourite place in the whole flat.”

In the Living Room: Gina the Interpreter

An airy, open space where ideas are allowed to grow. Different materials – wool, leather, wood, chrome – add depth and texture. It is the room where Gina lets herself be inspired, processes impressions and reassembles them, much like she does with a role.

“I like it when every room has its own atmosphere, but everything still fits together somehow. It’s important to me that everyone feels at home when they come to visit – that they truly feel they can settle in, get cosy, and enjoy themselves.”

In the Bathroom: Gina the Creator

The bathroom is pared back and calm. In front of the mirror, which makes the room seem larger and brighter, Gina takes deliberate time for small rituals that structure her day. A place that creates clarity.

“I do actually have quite a lot of mirrors, that’s true. I just like the mood they create – they open everything up.”

In the Dining Room: Gina the Host

For Gina, the dining room is a place of togetherness. Friends gather around the large table to share food and laughter. Gina loves creating these moments and giving others a sense of home. “Even though I enjoy being on my own, I love being surrounded by lots of people, inviting guests over and sharing my home with them.”
